The Cleveland IIBA Chapter will host a panel discussion on establishing a BA Center of Excellence.

Featured Topic:  Establishing a Business Analysis Center of Excellence

Speakers: 

Kate Gwynne, CBAP, is a Technology Director for Resource Ammirati (an IBM iX company) and has more than 20 years’ experience in the business analyst, training, and technical writing arena, across many industries, including marketing, manufacturing, finance, education, and insurance.  She spent 5 years building a Community of Practice at State Auto Insurance, and another 5 building a Center of Excellence for Resource.  In addition to guest speaking engagements for regional and international conferences, Kate contributed to Kitty Hass book entitled “Breakthrough Business Analysis: Implementing and Sustaining a Value-Based Practice.

Emily Midgley, CBAP, PBA, is the IT Business Analysis Practice Lead in Progressive Insurance’s Enterprise Delivery Practices team, and leads the steering committee of the internal BA Community of Practice. With 12 years of business analysis experience in the insurance industry, Emily was a BA for programs to implement leading edge technology like big data and mobile apps. She defined and socialized the role of BAs and BA Leads within IT programs and projects.

Cost:  Free for IIBA members and employees of our Host (Key Bank). $5 for Guests.  Based on RSVPs, IIBA Members will be given first priority and the number of attendees may be limited to a pre-defined attendance capacity.

RSVP:  E-mail the Cleveland Chapter and provide your Name, IIBA Membership number and email address. The deadline for RSVP's is Friday, September 8, 2017. If we are at capacity, you will be notified as soon as possible. Outside capacity issues, an official confirmation/invitation will be emailed to you after the RSVP deadline. For questions, please email Secretary@cleveland.iiba.org. Please be considerate of others and do not RSVP if you cannot attend the meeting. If you find you're not able to attend after having sent your RSVP, please e-mail and we will make your seat available for someone else.
