Featured Topic: Network like a Pro – Virtually or in Person

Have you ever wanted to network without (or at least with less) anxiety or fear of rejection? Preparation is key! Expectations are lower than you think and keeping it simple allows you to make new professional and personal relationships. We’ll review why we network and tips on how to network. Throughout the session, we will put these tips into practice and have some fun! First tip: Have questions ready to ask people before stepping in the room. Presentation attached below. 

Speaker: Mindy Bohannon, CBAP, thrives in the agile IT environment. She started her career in Cleveland as an Oracle developer and migrated to being a business analyst in different industries and companies across the city. While being a member of the Cleveland IIBA, she attended many meetings and knew she had to join the Washington DC Metro chapter when she moved there in 2015. Her goals were to meet new people (network!), get involved in the community and in the chapter, and always be learning. Mindy now shares her ideas on agile analysis and other professional development topics as President of the IIBA chapter and at many local, regional, and national conferences.
